What does a fuel pump do for your vehicle?  A properly working fuel pump sends fuel from your fuel tank to your engine.  Sometimes these pumps will fail, usually with little to no warning at all. Most fuel pumps are located inside the fuel tank, making them difficult to spot to the untrained eye.  This being said, there are instances where the fuel tank will need to be replaced at the same time as the fuel pump, but that is dependent on the make and model of your vehicle. This process is very in-depth and labor intensive.  We’re also dealing with flammable fuel, so please don’t try this repair at home unless you absolutely know what you are doing.  For those who aren’t auto mechanics, our team of ACE certified technicians have experience repairing fuel pumps across many types of vehicles, and can safely and securely replace your fuel pump.
