Schedule Chrysler Suspension Repair in Atlanta, Georgia
The auto suspension system is critical for proper steering, stopping, and stability. It is what connects your wheels to your vehicle, controls handling, and delivers a smooth ride. Your suspension has a lot of joints and pivot points that allow your wheels to move up and down over bumps and turn as you steer. These parts include ball joints, tie rod ends, the pitman, idler arms, and the control arm bushing, and they will wear out over time.
When a joint or other part is worn out, the suspension parts don’t fit together as tight as they should. Handling and steering will have a loose feel, and you may hear strange noises. Your tires will also wear unevenly as they bounce off-kilter down the road.
McCullough NAPA Auto Care staffs ASE Certified technicians with the experience and technology to properly diagnose any suspension issues you may be experiencing with your Chrysler. We’ve been in business since 1969 and have ample experience repairing and replacing suspension systems for any Chrysler model, including the Chrysler 300, Pacifica, and more.

October 21, 2021I live in Brookhaven and work in Duluth and pass dozens of auto repair shops on the route. I will forever go out of my way to go to McCullough. This is hands down the best repair shop I’ve ever been to. They are honest, kind, and treat each customer with the utmost respect. I’ll never take my cars anywhere else!

February 18, 2020McCullough has been my family's go-to mechanic for decades. Don't know what I would do without them - just a super-nice family that will take care of your cars. Their service is important to us because once we get a new car, we like to hold onto it for years (10-12). Highly recommend.

I have used McCullough Auto Care for more than10 years. I needed a reliable auto maintenance service because I commuted weekly to Birmingham. One of the nice things about these guys is they listen when I mention an issue with the car, go over their inspection results of my car and review my bill in detail. I have never been disappointed in their service or the cost of the service I received.

October 10, 2021Very respectful, honest, and professional. I was having issues with my headlights, and they fixed it for a reasonable price. They do a lot to ensure that you have a positive experience, and that you're not wasting your money on unnecessary parts or repairs. Top notch service, A+!

They figured out the issue with my Pathfinder and made the repair quickly. Eric is very thorough and kept me up to date the entire time. This was my first time using them but I will use them again!

October 21, 2021I would normally recommend this business as I have been here a few times. I went there Friday for an oil change. However, I honestly didn't feel safe. They have signs that customers must wear a mask. There was only one employee wearing a mask themselves. All the others didn't have a mask on. I feel this is disrespectful to their customers. I understand it can be uncomfortable but it is essential during these times.

January 23, 2020My experience here was great! Fast, curious, and fairly priced. I didn't think a repair shop like this existed. I'll be a lifelong customer.

August 6, 2020My vehicle was on the verge of breaking down while I was in Sandy Springs for work last week (I live in a different town), and my boyfriend had determined that it was a problem with the alternator. He helped me find McCulloch Auto Care, which was right down the street. We'd noticed the good reviews, and we took a chance! The staff is super friendly, professional, and kind. They were able to confirm our suspicions about my car's specific issues, and took us as soon as they could. I was so impressed with their customer service. They really went above and beyond to meet my repair needs, had a fair price, and worked quickly to repair the issue. I almost wish I lived closer just so that I could have my car serviced here more often! Great family owned business.

I had a check engine light on Saturday afternoon, ended up being an engine coil pack needing to be replaced. It was obviously super busy and I knew I would need to leave it until Monday to get looked at. Staff was very informative and communication was excellent. Got it looked at Monday and ordered necessary part to come in the next day. Went ahead and did the spark plugs as well since I was nearing 60k miles. Picked it up after lunch with no issues. Seems like they do really well with the small space provided and very busy area right off 285

July 21, 2021This place is a life saver. Great communication, great service, and very professional people. Eric worked with me through my whole repair. Kept me updated through out the process and fixed the problem on my car at a fair price. I will definitely make this my new place to go for all my car repairs and maintenance needs, along with sending my friends their way.

I have used McCullough for maintenance on my prior vehicle and received great service. Recently I had to repair my front bumper - I received an estimate for repair services that was reasonable. The estimated turn around time was less days than other auto shops. The best part was, the staff (Graham) was accommodating with my schedule and the repair was completed as expected/on time. The work completed was great. I absolutely recommended McCullough for auto care services.

February 23, 2021My truck broke down when we got to Atlanta on the way to Disney world. A local stopped to help us and recommended this place. This place got me in and got the radiator fixed for a very fair price and on our way the next day very quickly. I was so impressed and it's no surprise they are very busy. Thank you so much and my family all got to the resort and is having a great time!! These people are great and will get your vehicle fixed for a fair price. Plus, you get Napa warranty all over the country at least I did on the repair I got. Please support them!!!

September 16, 2019After recently moving to the area, I had a vehicle emergency where my transmission needed replacing. Graham immediately took me in and was SO kind, professional, and direct about the costs; one of their kind staff members even drove me home after my car was dropped for repair so that I did not have to call a car service. They were so patient with me and got my car back to me in one day completely fixed and ready to go! I will never use any other automotive repair shop in the area! ABSOLUTELY recommend without hesitation!

Signs Your Chrysler Needs Suspension Repair or Replacement
Shocks and struts are part of a vehicle’s suspension system and help to stabilize movements. Shocks and struts also provide control when you turn, accelerate or ride on uneven surfaces. Shocks are individual components of the suspension system, while struts are a major structural component of the chassis and suspension system.
You may wonder how to tell if your suspension system needs repair or if your shocks and struts need replacement. Here are 3 signs that your Chrysler’s suspension system, shocks, or struts, need repair or replacement.
1 – Chrysler Bounces As You Drive
A strut’s primary job is to control your vehicle’s body motion, which includes bouncing. Struts are designed to absorb the up-and-down, side-to-side movements associated with braking, turning, and driving on rough pavement. It is normal for struts to wear down over time. You may need to replace your struts if you notice a certain softness in how your car handles or if your Chrysler is generally more bouncy than it once was. Pay extra attention to how your front end handles going over bumps. Too much bounce is a sign you need to replace your struts.
2 – Clunking, Knocking, and Other Noises
When your vehicle moves uncontrollably, specific suspension components may come into contact with each other with more force than they’re designed to. This can lead to worn-out struts, excessive noise, and extra wear on your suspension system. If sounds like repeated clunking, knocking, or banging can be heard while your suspension is engaged, that is a sign you should replace your struts. Driving on a bad strut can damage other areas of the suspension system, so it’s crucial to replace bad struts as soon as you notice regular worrisome noises.
3 – Uneven, Worn-Out Tires
Bad struts won’t be able to keep your tires in constant contact with the road. This will make your car bounce or float as you drive, creating uneven wear patterns on the tread of your tires since they aren’t touching the ground one complete rotation at a time. If your tire tread shows spotty and inconsistent, rather than the wear around the entire perimeter of the tire, that indicates that your struts are failing.
